Through him we come to know God and to live in friendship and harmony with Him. The teachings and example of Jesus become our guide for living. The Spirit of Christ energizes us in the church and makes us one. Peace and reconciliation with God through Christ, and with each other, is a central part of our message and ministry.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.durhammennonite.org\/?page_id=84\">DMC Church Covenant<\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/durhammennonite.org\/?page_id=456\">DMC Vision Statement<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Vision (from MCUSA)<br \/>God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as a community of grace, joy, and peace, so that God\u2019s healing and hope flow through us to the world.<\/p>\n<h3>Mission Statement<\/h3>\n<p>Mission<br \/>The mission of our church is to restore people to relationships of communion with God and each other in Christ.
